The Education Data Exchange Network (EDEN), a product of the Performance-Based Data Initiative (PBDMI), is a central repository that gathers data from states, districts and schools.  The purpose of the data collection is to provide the federal government and states the capacity to transfer and analyze information about education programs, minimize the data collection of information in order to improve data quality and reduce the paperwork burden.  More information about EDEN can be found here.
